“Metal and Pipes” combines classical music and the diversity of the pipe organ with the dark and heavy riffs of the symphonic metal music. The repertoire of the six musicians includes popular classical organ pieces (D-minor Toccata by J.S. Bach, Suite Gothique by L. Boëllmann,...) in a new interpretation with the band, as well as compositions by the band ShadoWhisperS in an arrangement with organ music and free improvisations by Paul Kayser.

These studies were completed with the concert exam at the “University of Arts” in Berlin, where Paul Kayser was admitted to the organ improvisation class of Prof. Wolfgang Seifen.

He regularly plays solo recitals, for example at festivals in Luxembourg, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic. His interest in chamber music led to concerts with flute, percussion, saxophone, singers and choirs. In 2005, he played as soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Luxemburg at the « Festival d’Orgue de Dudelange ». The same year, he was on a concert tour in Japan with the « Pueri Cantores du Conservatoire de Luxembourg »

Having grown up with the famous Stahlhuth organ in Dudelange, working at the famous St. Willibrordus Basilica and as organ teacher in Echternach, Paul Kayser is today organist of St. Alphonsus church in Luxembourg City. Later that year, a new song "Slow Death" was released as a video clip on youtube. The band won second place in public voting during the Luxemburg Video Awards 2017.

In 2018, ShadoWhisperS appeared on a Brazilian compilation and on a german compilation.

It's emotive darkness that tells epic tales of the battle between light and dark, inner struggles, dreams and nightmares, and of course life and death.

We are shadows that whisper truths, and seduce into taking off the blindfold.

Diane - vocals

Sonni - guitar

Laurent - keyboards

Piquet - bass
